AngelRide, has raised $5.5 million dollars since 2004 for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp’s Hospital Outreach®Program. Specialists make 30,000 visits to children in hospitals and facilities in NY, CT, RI, MA, PA and NJ to bring the magic of Camp to seriously ill children. The “AngelRide” is Saturday, May 27 and is a full day of riding for bikers of all ages with 25, 50 and 75 mile routes.
Close To Home, Glastonbury is opening the classroom to make skirts and shorts for all the kids! These are adorable, funky and easy to stitch, even for beginners. You create them from the donated logo t-shirts! Beginners learn new skills and experienced stitchers will love this project. We’ll have plenty of the kits, Chaleen will lead you in the construction and all the machines are supplied by Close To Home. Just come in anytime that day and share the joy.
