Close to Home was born in 1982 and has grown and developed into a fun, enjoyable, and most rewarding experience. Its our passion!
We love what we do, we love our staff and we love our customers!

Since its birth, Close to Home has been a family owned and operated business started by Marilyn and Ron Gattinella, joined by sons Marc and Paul and at one time daughter Denise until she got married and moved to the Salt Lake City area and works in the same type of business for her mother in law.

Both sons own and operate their own stores in different parts of the state. Working and purchasing together gives us more buying power, allowing us to pass on to you the best pricing on sewing machines, furniture, home decor and quilting supplies. We are constantly offering promotions along with our Exclusive Customer Rewards Program printed on our register receipts.

As a team, we have won many awards for Sales & Service and Marilyn and Ron were inducted into the Sewing Machine hall of Fame in February of 2015.

Lastly, the family consists of 3 sons and 1 daughter, all married and have 12 children amongst them, 7 boys and 5 girls.

We have all been blessed and life is fantastic!
