Direct from Queensland, Australia, Close to Home presents Kym Goldup-Graham, owner of "The Sewing Revolution"! Kym is taking our nation by storm with her original collection of rulers. She invented them to save you time and stress whether you sew, quilt, applique or embroider.
Kym is machine savvy as well, and says "you'll dig into parts of the sewing machine some stitchers won't even know existed"!
Day 1 starts with a trunk show of Kym's fabulous samples and the rulers she used to create them. Followed with 1 1/2 days of sewing and embroidery. You'll create a frame using Kym's simple double bias ruler, then stitch 3 inserts for the frame. The look of the inserts will be transformed using various sewing and embroidery techniques.
