Volunteers will gather at Close to Home to create quilts for women & children at local shelters & charitable organizations.

There are many ways to become involved. Call or register on-line to volunteer for sewing, cutting, ironing, sorting fabric, making/applying binding & many other tasks. Come for a few hours or stay all afternoon. Sewers are encouraged to bring their own machines.

There is no attendance fee for this event, but please RSVP. If you are unable to participate in person, we can provide you with "kits" to sew at home, or finished tops to quilt at your convenience.

At this time, we have enough fabric "kits" and pre-cut squares to complete several quilts. However, donations of Twin or Crib-size 100% Cotton batting are always welcome.
