Let's turn those tops into quilts! Expand your quilting abilities by finishing your quilts on a long arm. This class will explain the different types of long arm machines and how to operate them. Students will learn the "basics" of successful Long Arm quilting: how to set up the quilt top, backing & batting, thread the machine, wind the bobbin as well as proper operation & maintenance techniques. This class also serves as a certification to rent time on one of the Long Arm machines at Close to Home.
This is a Lecture Demo class, students will get a chance to try the machine and only need to bring a pen/pencil & notebook.
