Affairs of the Heart - Glastonbury - February 15th, March 8th, March 29th

Join us to make this applique masterpiece that you will treasure for years to come.  "Affairs of the Heart" is a machine embroidery quilt with 36 appliqued blocks for both 6"X6" hoop and 8"X8" hoop, each integrating a heart motif in some manner.  The blocks are intricate in appearance, yet easy enough to be tackled by novices with basic applique skills.  Even experts will find themselves engaged in the delicacy of the exquisite design elements and the vividness of the florals.  

Class includes the pattern ($99) and Gail's embroidery expertise.

Class one: How to organize yourself to do a project of this size as well as fabric and thread selection.  This quilt has two different sizes and two different settings which will be discussed in this first session (no machine needed for this class).
Class two:  Will cover how to embroider the applique blocks.
Class three: Putting it all together.

There will be spacing between the classes to give you time to complete the tasks needed and you can always sign up for "A Sew Sewcial" to come in and embroider with others.  Our staff will be available to help you to answer questions.
